Deep crimson in colour, intense aromas of blood plums, blackberries and blackcurrants are supported by toasty oak, fennel seeds and hints of bay leaf. The medium to full-bodied palate displays intense flavours of mulberry and plum skin, complemented by hints of black pepper, crushed herbs and smoky oak. The well-structured palate paves way for the long polished tannins to finish.
The rich and powerful nature of our Gomersal Estate Shiraz lends itself nicely to wild game meats including Kangaroo fillet cooked medium rare and served on a crunchy Asian salad.
